Grand Junction Trip: Fun at Ryan and Hilary’s!

Ryan and Hilary were so gracious to host us in their small one bathroom apartment and keep us all well fed and comfortable. That was no easy feat I am quite sure. There were eleven of us visiting (not including Ryan, Hilary and Jocie, so 14 total) so all of us getting ready for church and different things got pretty interesting, but we made it. It was probably for the best that we spent most of our awake hours out and about hiking. As luck would have it, they moved into a beautiful and spacious home at the end of the month. Ha ha! Gotta love timing sometimes. We need to make a trip back to see their new place! We are so happy for them and for how things have come together for them the past year!

Grand Junction Colorado Trip: Our Last Hike to Mica Mine!

This hike was a lot of fun! Even if it was rainy which put a damper (pun intended) on the shine of all the Mica found along the trail, but we still had the time of our lives with this last hike before the long drive home. The boys and I sure enjoyed our time visiting Ryan and Hilary back in September!

Check out my Mom’s cute, little tail that bounced happily along as she hiked along the trail. It had us in a roar of laughter!

Jayden went up next to this rock and asked in the sweetest, little voice ever, “Hey Mom! Could you get a picture of me like this by this rock please?” Who could say no to that. So sweet!

It was the perfect last hike for our Grand Junction Colorado adventure! We already can’t wait to go back and visit this Spring!
