Grand Junction Colorado Trip: Pizza Picnic in the Park!

Saturday night we took it easy with some pizza in the park after our hike and fun in town that day. Eating, relaxing, and playing together at this beautiful park was the perfect end to the day and the sunset followed the theme of perfection!

Grand Junction Colorado Trip: Exploring Artistic Main Street!

Main Street in Grand Junction is so beautiful, historic, and full of art! We had so much fun taking it all in and we explored up and down both side of the street. Jayden could not get enough of all of the exhibits and Tristan was busy looking back and forth as he took in each and every detail like he always does.

Grand Junction Colorado Trip: Enstrom Chocolates!

After our hike in the clouds and lunch, we headed into town for some fun. We started out at this adorable candy shop where we found goodies of all kinds from chocolate high heeled shoes to suckers with scorpions in them. It was quite the little adventure! We got some yummy chocolate suckers to enjoy, and passed on the bug infested lollipop.

Welcome December, Welcome Winter!

As I have said before, I really can’t choose a favorite season as I love parts about each and every one one of them for different reasons. So here is my tribute to Winter. What I love about winter is the opportunity to honor the birth of our Savior, all the time spent gathering as a family, the calm and cool snow outside that perfectly compliments the warm memories being made inside with friendly conversation over hot chocolate and homemade caramels. The music, the lights, the parties, the magic, the excitement, the charity, the happiness, and the enchantment all make this time of year so very special to me.
