Grandma’s Birthday Celebration and Fun!

My Grandma is very special to me and to our family. She has been with us through thick and thin-especially the past few years. We wanted to do something big for her birthday A. because we love her, and B. because after all she has done and all that she is, she really deserved it! I went over early that morning and made breakfast, we opened presents, and then Grandma and I headed out for shopping and lunch at El Matador while Jayden palled around with Grandpa in the backyard and at the park. After our girl’s day out, we went back to our place and played games and ordered pizza. It was a day to remember and I really hope that she enjoyed herself. Happy Birthday, Grandma!

Jayden was hard at play in the backyard when we got back from shopping and lunch, and boy was he excited to show me everything. He was SO proud of the dinner he cooked for me. YUM! ;)

I am waiting to post the pictures of the the rest of the day until my mobile post since I took them with my phone, but boy was it ever a good day!

My Bittersweet Closing Night of Guys and Dolls

Closing night was bittersweet because I really did not want it to be over and have to say goodbye to all of my friends, but I was ready for it to be over after four months of rehearsals and a LOT (which I was happy about) of performances, so that I could have more time at home with my boys. This play was such an INCREDIBLE experience and it really brought me to life after a few hard years leaving me a bit depressed and lifeless. This play and the people I met and worked with throughout it all played a huge role in bringing me back to life, and re-kindling my passion for life and performing.

Rachel and Hilary were some of my besties! SO many deep, long talks. Love you girls!

Codie did not want to smile...so we did it her way first, which made my way a lot easier for her. :)

March Mobile Photos

March was busy and full of fun! So many memories with family, friends, food and fun! It is another big one, as we did not have a camera until the end of the month, so all the pictures I took were on my phone for most of the month. Enjoy!

Ben’s birthday was a BLAST this year! I made him breakfast in bed, surprised him with balloons and a candy bar poster when he got home from work, got chicken and potato salad for lunch (because he even got off of work WAY early), and then that night I blindfolded him and took him all over town to some new places (Movie Grille) as well as to Chili’s (for his favorite Molten Lava Cake). It was SO much fun!!! Happy 28th babe!!!

I helped Jayden make this Finding Nemo themed birthday card to go with the turtles he got Ben and to honor his favorite (at the time) movie.

I will always treasure those sweet morning cuddles.

I was watching a sad movie about a little boy dying of cancer and started crying, and Caleb quickly hurried over to me from across the room to make sure I was okay. Such a sweet boy!

Rebecca’s (a.k.a. Adelaide’s) killer Guys and Dolls joint birthday party. About half the cast had a birthday throughout the duration of the rehearsals and the show, so she threw a big bash on her birthday for them all. Let me tell you what-this girl knows how to throw a party. It was AWESOME!!!

 

Yay for a good tax return to build up savings, pay off debt, and re-vamp the house a bit! We got a beautiful new (much needed) couch and some fun new colors and décor.

New Couch! We got it for 75% off! We absolutely LOVE it! It fits in and matches our home perfectly! Ben was awesome and put it together while I was at my party.

It was a BUSY and fun month! Full of LOTS of pictures as usual. I really need to learn how to tone it down a bit. I am obsessed! Ha ha!
