Our April was packed FULL of events, Conference, birthdays, holidays, girl’s days, date nights, eating out (lots), musicals, reunions (with family and old roomies from college), get-togethers, and much, much more! It was one packed month I tell ya! Looking back I am scratching my head at how we did it all, but boy was it ever a fun month!
Jayden LOVES cooking and baking with Mommy in the kitchen.
Jayden was SO good with Conference. He would just sit and watch on my lap. He LOVED it! It was SO touching to me. Every time they would say the Savior's name, he would turn to me and say "Oh I love Him, Mommy! I love Him!" It was heart melting!
Our last cast outing to Applebee’s as the cast of Guys and Dolls. I miss these people!
Closing Night of my show and Conference weekend!
Ya, the ottoman has pretty much become the throne of King Caleb.
More of our girl’s day out for Grandma’s birthday!
Go figure Jayden would get a present from Grandma on her birthday. She even babysat (her request-promise!), while Ben and I went out to eat with Ben’s work buddies. Our Grandma is the BEST!!!
We ordered pizza for the birthday partiers, and Ben and I had a WONDERFUL evening with DELICIOUS food and AWESOME people!
After a bedtime story, and a giant block tower, we girls tucked the boys in bed and topped the day off with games!
This boy is the sweetest! Even if he did throw a block and ding the wall up while Grandma was babysitting him. At least he kissed it better, right?…
Hanging out with Mommy while Daddy was out late working the business.
The Lunar Eclipse in April was AMAZING! I LOVE the sky!
Fun with the family at Aladdin to see Lindsay perform, and then back to my parent’s to top the night off with ice cream.
Little Derek is such a good uncle!
Fun with Kendra for the first time after her mission to Italy! LOVE this girl!!!
Jayden’s Easter goodies!
Date Night! Call’s Drive-in and Walker Cinemas!
Can you say yum?!
Roomie Reunion and girl’s day! I had not seen Jess since Snow back in 2007! It was so fun to catch up with her and Heidi! It conveniently came together very last minute one day (I had about 20 minutes notice), while Jayden was having a sleepover at Grandma and Grandpa Ostler’s.
Ha ha! Heidi totally shoplifted (on accident-Mommy brain does crazy things to you), and I scored Frozen on DVD for a STEAL (but I did not forget to pay ;)), and I thought we were rebellious in college! Too much fun!
Ben and I took one last opportunity for a night on the town for appetizers and dessert before picking up Jayden at Grandma and Grandpa’s. He was pretty stoked about the surprises we brought him when we picked him up.
Jayden sure has fun at Grandma and Grandpa’s house! Every boy needs s little fun in the countryside, right?
Riding in the tractor with Grandpa.
Guys and Dolls Reunion to go to dinner and see ‘She Loves Me’. Such a fun night!
Jayden sure loves his “new couch”. Every morning, he still says “Mommy hold you new couch”. Ha ha! Too cute!
This is what you do when it is late and you need to clean, but your toddler is struggling with fears and bad dreams. He took a bubble bath to relax and get his mind of scary things and I cleaned like crazy. :)
I looked up from doing the dishes and could not find Jayden, when I moved the blanket, he greeted me with this big grin. He LOVES to tease, and cuddle and sleep with Daddy-that too.
Fun at Hilary’s baby shower! Jayden took over duty as official present unwrapping assistant, and believe me, he took it seriously. He would barely let Hilary admire one gift before taking it away and giving her another.
Making warm cookies to surprise Daddy with after work on a rainy day.
We had a crazy hail, wind, rain and thunderstorm that lasted about four minutes, before clearing up and turning back to sunny skies.
Lookie look! Jayden found Ben’s work vest, and Ben found our camera charger (a month after we got a new camera). Woot! ha ha!
We had some cool storms this Spring that lead to some cool sunsets!
Jayden went from what you see above to what you see below in two seconds flat, and slept right through scripture study.
It is all about the tunnels and trains at our house lately.
Do you think Jayden is ready to watch ‘Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Road Rally’? Ha ha! LOVE it!
Guess what Mommy enjoys while the boys sleep away? Yup! I made a pig of myself this night with my favorite Peanut Butter s’mores.
