Jayden and I had the privilege of going down to Temple Square with a group of friends the beginning of December. Ben was going to meet us after work, but unfortunately did not get off work until after eight, so he ended up just staying home and not coming down after work. Luckily, he made it down with us for our second trip a couple of weeks later with Naomi and Casey, but I will be posting about that trip later. Jayden and I had so much fun getting out of the house and socializing with friends, and meeting new friends while enjoying all that Temple Square and The City Creek Mall have to offer at Christmas time. It was a BLAST! I just wish Ben could have joined us to make it even better. It was SO good to go twice this year though. It somewhat made up for missing out on the experience and tradition last year.
Kyle was nice and treated us to Wendy’s! He even took some to Ben before we left. What a guy! Jayden LOVED the toy recorder he got in his kid’s meal. He is playing with it as I type this.
Jayden sure loves Uncle Kyle!
Jayden got pretty attached to our new friends Megan and Megan (at least it made remembering names a little easier).
They had quite the water and light show set to music!
Jayden wanted to touch the water, so we let him thinking that would end it…boy did that backfire! He wanted to touch that cold water again and again! Crazy boy!
Tried to get a picture of us in front of the wreath, but my camera angle was off, and Jayden just wanted to be silly.
LOVE this adorable little face! He sure enjoyed the show!
It was a fun night that helped bring back an old tradition. :)
