Here goes part two of my millions of pictures from May. The second half of May was full of barbecues, weekend getaways with friends, meeting Jocelyn, motorcycle pleasure rides, treats, fun family home evenings, hot dog roasts, family parties and sleepovers, girl’s nights, Memorial Day, and playing with and taking pictures of Jocelyn!
Hanging my new garage sale find and getting the food prepped for our BBQ with Ben’s Post Office buddies. It was such a fun get together, and the food was A-mazing!
We already have a little climber at our house. Heaven help us!
After the BBQ we headed to Logan for a weekend with Kyle. SO much fun! Every time we visit.
No more Jayden’s jumping on the bed!
Kyle is an AWESOME host and cook and made us delicious German pancakes for breakfast while we all slept in. SO good!!!
We stopped by Ryan and Hilary’s to meet Jocelyn while in Logan.
Jayden even made a new friend with their friend’s dog.
Kyle was awesome and watched Jayden while Ben and I took a nice and romantic ride up the canyon. It was such a BEAUTIFUL and invigorating ride! I LOVE bike rides! I miss having our own bike.
When we got home, we made yummy pizza with Kyle’s new toy. SO good! We made pigs of ourselves this weekend.
After we shampooed the carpets, I had a little fun re-arranging the furniture. I tried an all new arrangement with our bedroom and it is my FAVORITE yet!
It was a long week with babysitting and our trip to Logan. The boys were tuckered out and I was SO ready for a nice bubble bath and a night in my own bed!
Jayden is still obsessed with his train set we found at the garage sale. Goodness love those things and their deals. We are going through a LOT of batteries however. Ben has to change them out once a week.
Our F.H.E. brownie decorating fun! It was a mess, but boy was it ever a BLAST! So worth having to mop the floor afterwards!
I have some pretty terrific boys!
Sometimes life with a busy toddler makes for some hard and expensive days. Lucky for me they can still end on a good note with a shopping vacation alone, some frozen yogurt, good deals on potty training rewards at Dollar Tree, and getting my food storage completely re-stocked while my AMAZING hubby took care of the boys. Ben even let me order in pizza that night so I did not have to cook (after buying all that food, it was a little ironic) ha ha! Yay silver lining!
The storms rolling in and out made for some BEAUTIFUL evening walks/runs in May.
Jayden took care of clearing the dishes after breakfast, so we surprised him with some change to put towards his next treat or toy, and gave him the wallet Cami brought back from Ecuador. He was pretty excited about his hard earned money.
Jayden is loving his new coloring books!
Dog pile and Jayden kissing Mommy’s “owie” better.
Our first hot dog roast of the year. Jayden was so fascinated by the fire and decided to take it upon himself to protect us all from it with his water gun.
A hot dog roast is never complete without s’mores!
Since the boys were away for a campout, my Mom brought the girls over for a girl’s night with pizza, a chick flick and goodies. When I went to wake Jayden to tell them the party was starting, I found Jayden asleep on his changing table.
Kendra was visiting Utah from school, so we decided we needed to introduce her to In-N-Out. It was a hit!
We topped the yumminess off with Homemade Oreos.
Fun and a slumber party with Kyle and Naomi before Memorial Day.
Memorial Day fun at Grandma’s House! We helped her out in the yard, had a barbeque and then visited Aunt Sheryl and the cemetery, and then ended the day with Naomi and Andrea and a yummy fried chicken dinner.
I went up to Logan to help cook and clean for Hilary and take pictures of Jocelyn. It was a good day, and was actually a break from my normal routine while juggling Jayden since my Mom was watching him for the day.
Needless to say with these two huge posts that May was both busy and fun!
