One of my all-time favorite traditions from growing up with my family and that Ben and I are continuing with our family is going to Bear Lake every summer. It is one of my favorite past-times and I love seeing Jayden grow up loving it as I have. We were able to campout again this year-YAY!-and boy did we ever have a BLAST! Our first day was full of delicious Dutch Oven meals, chillin’ at the beach, taking WAY too many pictures (I really need to work on this obsession of mine), playing with some cute little critters, swimming, star-gazing, and ending the night with Dutch Oven peach cobbler and a movie party.
Baby catfish!
This boy LOVES to camp! We love our happy little camper!
I found this little piece of wood that made the perfect boat for Jayden to play with.
This little stink loves to throw sand. Look out!
Nothing like an afternoon nap in the tent while watching and listening to the rain fall.
Dutch Oven ribs-PERFECTION!
The kids all enjoying Frozen in the tent trailer.
The night sky was incredible with this beautiful moon!
We topped off the night with a little movie party in the tent, but Jayden fell asleep just after the opening credits and I was soon to follow. I think Daddy still enjoyed the film though.
It was a great day! Stay tuned-Day Two is up next!
