Our fun at home bringing in the 4th of July late night on the 3rd!
Do you think that Jayden was excited about getting to ride a fire truck in the Honeyville Parade?
We started the 4th off right with patriotic donuts from Kent’s bakery on our way to Honeyville.
Since we were at the beginning of the parade, we got to get off and enjoy the rest of the parade together before meeting back up with Ben and Grandpa and Grandma at the park.

Dinner with Uncle Kyle before some family fun at Kangaroo Zoo (yes, we go about once a week, but with 50% bounce back coupons we figure why not, right?).

Grandma was in town and stopped by and brought ice cream. We think she is just the BEST!

We sure missed this little cutie while we were gone! We made good on our promise to take him to Kangaroo Zoo when we got back.
Jayden was building cakes with his blocks and I asked him if he wanted to make a real cake. He was SO excited! We even made our first cake from scratch! It turned out good if we don’t say so ourselves.
Because what is a cake without some sprinkles?
I sure love my little guys! They bring SO much joy to our life!
Date night with my family on Pioneer Day! All five of us got in for $7.50 with Ben’s 50% off discount for Federal Employee Night! We enjoyed Godzilla while the rest of the kiddos had a movie party of their own back at our place.
We enjoyed sparklers and fireworks back at our neighborhood. It is safe to say that Jayden is a pretty big fan.
Jayden had fun while Mommy helped clean Grandma’s house since she has not been doing well.
Jayden was a good helper and even earned a trip to the park with Grandpa while Mommy finished.
Hitting up the Dairy for lunch! I still remember my grandpa taking me here when I was little for penny candies and goodies back when it was a tiny white building across the street. It was fun to see the tradition carry on with my own child.
Gotta love that awkward moment when you fall in your great grandma’s potty chair. Good thing we had just taken the packaging off.

It just does not get better than helping Daddy make breakfast on a Sunday morning to surprise Mommy with.

Jayden LOVED picking and eating raspberries at my parent’s, and after we dropped my grandparents off at their house, we had quite the after party in their backyard watching the neighborhood fireworks. They went off like this for over an hour! It was AWESOME!
After a fun day of playing at grandma’s Jayden and I enjoyed a nice foot soak at home. I have done this since I was little. What can I say? I have several weird quirks.
All in all I’d say we had a good month. Posting this makes me miss summer already.
