February was pretty fun and crazy! Play rehearsals were in full swing with the play opening on the 21st (can’t believe it all ended last weekend…I am a little emotional knowing it is over with), and I had little time to be bored between the play, keeping up with the house and other house wife duties, and of course chasing after and taking care of our busy and crazy toddler! I was grateful for the busy-ness though. Considering winter normally drags and can be quite depressing and long. On top of all the normal craziness, I was also in full workout and eating healthy mode to look as good as possible for the show (I am happy to report I am continuing that endeavor even with the show being over). I tell ya, pursing a healthy lifestyle can be time consuming and hard at times, but it is oh SO worth it!!!
All of this took up most of the month, but there was also Valentine’s Day, time spent with family and friends making memories and having a good time (let’s face it, these moments are what make life worth living), keeping busy with projects for my calling as Primary Chorister (we are in a new ward now due to the ward boundaries changing, and I miss it SO much!), finally getting our brakes fixed-they needed it-BADLY, spending one last weekend with Casey and Naomi before Casey left for his deployment, cheat days to enjoy some treats like cookies with Jayden and spudnuts with Grandma (because you have to live a little), building forts with Jayden (his favorite activity these days), and chilling as a family at home (sometimes this is the BEST!). All in all, I would say February was a good, productive and fun-filled month!
P.S.-This is the last month that will be covered entirely by my mobile pictures post thanks to our new camera! WOOT! Happy dance!!!
Jayden got upset and pulled my hair out-OUCH! Also pictured is my “Singing Time Snowman”. When the kids would sing a song really well, they got to add a piece of the snowman. It was fun and the LOVED it!
Making Homemade Oreos to take to the neighbors one Sunday. Cookie making has become a family tradition.
Jayden likes to stand on things, put his arms out to his side, and exclaim “TA-DA!”. It is the cutest!!!

Chillin’ at rehearsal and then a late and unhealthy dinner afterwards, at least Jayden was excited about it. Jayden tucked Elmo in bed that night.

My last hoorah with Casey before his deployment for a year (I miss him SO much!!!). We went to Panda Express and then to the Hill Aerospace Museum after my rehearsal one Saturday.

Casey came to one of my rehearsals to see as much of my show as he could before leaving. Wish he could have seen it all put together. This was the last night I would see him. It was hard to say goodbye!

Valentine’s week fun! Decorations, pizza, treats, gifts, family mini photo shoot, and Maddox and a movie with my love! It was a good day of love for the Ostler’s folks!

Fun at the yearly couple’s Valentine’s dinner that my parents host. The tradition started last year.
Caleb is quite the personality in our house. From playing and having fun, to politely asking to go out, to creepily watching us while we sleep, we sure love our puppy!
Well, we got to see Casey one last time, I just wish the circumstances were better. He was hospitalized with appendicitis that he had to have surgery for. At least we got to see him. Jayden thought that all the tools, equipment, and magazines were pretty cool.
‘Enjoying our traditional yearly spudnut making with Grandma Durfee! Afterwards we went to Applebee’s for lunch.
After lunch I was touching up my makeup while using the mirror on the visor. Jayden thought he was SO funny when he kept closing it on me. Stinker!

Adelaide’s cute and clever opening night gifts! A fellow hot box dancer, Emily gave all the girls a rose with a sweet note, and our Director Char wrote everyone a personalized card. Everyone was so creative and thoughtful throughout the entire show!
This is what happens when you run into set pieces-OUCH! I still have a bump and it still hurts six weeks later. On the plus and random side? Bountiful Baskets are quite nice. :)
A morning spent with the Ahlstrom girls at a special Relief Society workshop and luncheon.
My family and Ben came to my second show later that night and my Mom and Naomi brought me these amazing flowers! I enjoyed watching the lilies bloom for an entire week!
These two could spend all day together.
It is all about the forts and castle building at our house these days. :)
