Decking the Halls at the Ostler House!

It has become tradition to decorate for Christmas after Thanksgiving Dinner. I love Christmas but like to focus on each and every holiday, but as soon as Thanksgiving Dinner concludes, up Christmas décor goes! This normally comes with rearranging the living room as well which I love because I really like a change from time to time. Jayden was such a big helper with his big and strong muscles that we just had to document. Last year was Tristan’s first time seeing the tree and lights and decorations, and he loved it…as soon as he woke up to see it all. These memories and traditions are some of my favorite together!

Jayden’s Birthday Party in Perry!

Jayden was so excited about the fact that he got four cakes for his birthday. It seems only fitting since he turned 4 this year, right? The third cake was for the big extended family party at my parent’s house and since Ben’s parent’s ended up needing to work at the temple that night, his fourth cake would come the next month. Ben’s parents were awesome and threw him a party complete with cupcakes that you will see in the Mobile Pictures Post for October.

Onto this particular party. We started out with a fun outing to Jayden’s favortie park-“The Train Park” a.k.a. John Adams Park in Brigham. We took my little brother Derek with us, and all had to much fun before heading back to my parent’s for dinner, presents, cake and ice cream, and all the celebrating that comes with a birthday party. Our little guy was on top of the world all week. Which is right where we wanted him to be.

I felt so bad for our little guy for one reason and one reason only that day. When we were getting his balloon bouquet out of the car at my parent’s house, his fire truck mylar balloon got loose and flew away…he was devastated. I just had to make it up to him, and I did so with this…made his whole day, which in turn made mine.

We sure love our four year old little boy!

Jayden's 4th Birthday!!!

Jayden’s birthday and his excitement were so much fun this past year! We surprised him by letting him pick out his own balloon bouquet and then had his birthday party as a family. We made fast food for dinnner, and then enjoyed cake and ice cream. Jayden was ecstatic about his cake, presents, and all of the decorations. It is so fun watching him grow…even if it is happening way to fast in my opinion. He was pretty excited about our surprise guest as well. I think the gecko heard about the killer party we were throwing.

Someone was pretty excited about everything honoring his birthday!

He was a cute, little guy! We took him some place a little bit safer for him to live in a field by our home.
