All Aboard for Fun at the Union Station!

Our final and last day of fun during Ben’s days off of work and our baby moon to celebrate our last outings as a family of three was a more laid back kind of day. We took it easy with only spending a couple of hours at the Union Station so Ben could focus mainly on school. Jayden was stoked naturally, and Ben and I enjoyed watching his passion and enthusiasm for his beloved trains as usual. It was a great way to spend a couple of hours having fun together!

Daddy was awesome and woke up with Jayden so I could sleep in and even made breakfast! Jayden and I are sure fond of this guy of ours and his loves, hugs, and tickles.

Our Wonderful Day at the Zoo!

Since Ben had this week off of work last month in between yearly contracts, we took advantage of the time together and amazing weather and planned a few activities with Jayden. After Ben and I got back from our romantic getaway, we took him to the Hogle Zoo for a day of fun. It was the perfect day! Nice temperature, not crowded, and the animals were super active and fun to watch. We got to watch zebras fight, grizzly bears wrestle, and the lions prowl around. It was such a fun day with my boys!!!

Jayden loved the animal statues around the zoo. He went up and named every single body part of this gorilla before pausing, grabbing onto his chest and exclaiming matter of factly, “And that’s it’s boob!” We got some pretty disgusted looks which just sent me and Ben roaring with laughter. Proud parent for Ben and me for sure. Ha ha!

Jayden sat on multiple animals (including the lion he had been begging to go on the whole time we were in line) before finally deciding on the tortoise.

Thumbs up for an awesome carousel ride! :)

Jayden almost missed the seal one time, so he made sure he was ready and got very excited when the seal came around again. :)

Time to ride the train! Jayden’s favorite part, so we save it for last so he does not end up begging for another ticket throughout the entire zoo.
