Day two started out with three goofy boys making silly faces and only got all the more fun as the day went on. From a yummy Dutch oven breakfast, to games in the tent trailer, to sword fights with beach toys, to Ryan and Hilary and cute little Jocelyn arriving, to hot dog roasts (because what is camping without that?), to beach fun and castle building, to sinking our toes in the sand, to visiting and laughter, to swimming and then jet-skiing as the big finale of another WONDERFUL trip to Bear Lake!
Sometimes Jayden does not want to cooperate for the millions of pictures his Mommy wants to take of him. Can’t say I blame him, but even the ones where he is being a stinker turn out cute and memorable.
I think Jayden won! Ha ha!
I love me some baby cuddle time!
The picture above on the right was taken seconds before Jayden dumped that cup of ice water all over Jocelyn and I (can you say jealousy issues?), and the picture to its left is seconds after he dumped said water on her, and decided he then wanted to hold her. Looks like Jocelyn does not forgive too quickly (can’t say that I blame her).
Isn’t she just the sweetest?! I LOVE my little niece!
Her Momma is pretty great too.
We got to drive right up onto the beach. It was nice and saved us quite the walk to the water.
Don't mind my desperate need for a pedicure. The feeling of the sand and the water fun were totally worth.
Love these sweet sleeping babes!
Everyone had quite the hair-dos after jet-skiing.
After bidding our beautiful lake goodbye, we stopped to grab some yummy food and of course yummy raspberry shakes on our way home.
Yup..those raspberry shakes are just that good.
We made a couple of stops on the way home just the three of us. The first at the look out point above Bear Lake Valley, and the second at Rick’s Spring. We even got to stand and be surrounded by tons of humming birds. It was SO worth getting home a bit later.
Anything and everything is a “train track” to our little guy.
Ben and Jayden had fun exploring a cave, but my claustrophobic self stayed at the mouth of it.
Jayden was scared because of the piece of the lining of the bridge that was missing, so his good Daddy was nice and filled the gap so Jayden could safely cross. What a guy!
It was such a fun trip! Can’t wait to go again next year!
