Baby Animal Days: The Beginning of a New Ostler Family Tradition!

We took Jayden to the Baby Animal Days in Kaysville last weekend and we all had SO much fun! It will definitely be a new Ostler Family Tradition that we hope to enjoy together for years to come. Jayden got to ride on a train, ride a pony, got his face painted, and got to hold and pet all kinds of cute baby animals! He was in heaven! It was so cute and fun to watch, even if it was a bit on the chilly side with the rainy weather. The nice thing was we got there right as the rain was stopping and then were leaving just as it was starting up again so we could not have timed it any better.

He got first dibs on picking a car to ride in so he picked the yellow one, of course. He is a big fan of yellow these days. :)

The train would go in circles and the engine would barely miss Jayden’s little caboose. It was so funny to watch how concerned/excited  he would get about it crashing into him

I ran into my friend Julie. One of the “Denver Wives” from Colorado. It was sure fun to see her! It had been three years and was an extra special treat since she was visiting from the East Coast.

He even got the “little horsie” he was hoping for.

Jayden told the lady at the booth that he wanted a black horse with yellow hair. He held so still while she painted it for him.

Yup! We were a little crazy and got a snow cone in the freezing cold. We sure enjoyed it though.

This kid goat was as wiggly and rambunctious as our Jayden. He got a pretty big kick out of it and was all giggles as it squirmed while he was holding it.

It sure made for a fun outing as a family!
