Last month was an exciting one as far as fun with other little families, as well as fun of our own as a family at home. One little family got a little bigger by one cute adorable little boy, and putting up Halloween decorations got all the more exciting when Jayden joined in on the fun. He LOVED getting to hold the sweet new baby. He also had the time of his life! Every time I would get another one out for him to help me put out, he would say, “Wow, cool!” or “Oh, neat-o”, and a few of them even got a big, excited “Awesome!”, I say it all the time, but children really do add so much joy and happiness to life and its many experiences. Jayden and I also had fun with a couple Tuesday Mommy Play Days.
We sure had fun getting out and socializing last month. Last month! That feels so much better than five years ago, or a year ago. Yay for being SO close to being all the way caught up! I only have a number of posts to reach the goal I have been working towards since February, and it feels oh so good!
Our Mommy craft/project day. This was the day the government shut down, and although that brought with it a very tense and solemn mood to this particular get together, our group did grow due to one being off work because of the shut down. Seriously, this country is getting scarier and scarier. I am SO grateful for the Gospel to give my world hope, and stability. Especially these days.
Jayden LOVED the Choo Choo Train he got while out shopping with Mommy, Heidi, and Lyric for our play day out on the town.
Setting up for Halloween for a play day at home, since the scheduled Mommy Play Day was cancelled. We still had fun! Jayden was all giggles and clapping and cheering. It was adorable, and made decorating this year SO much fun! For the whole month of October, everyone that came to our house had to be taken to the back door to see the “stuckers” (stickers).
I taught Jayden how to cackle like a witch, and he cackled all October long. It seriously was SO stinkin’ cute! That child just kills me with his cuteness!
After the decorating was done, and he had shown Daddy his amazing work, Jayden grabbed the chairs from his kiddie table and insisted we watch a movie together. He is so much fun!
Jayden loved watching Lyric sleeping before we headed out to have Heidi take our family pictures. Our little guy sure LOVES babies! Now we just need one of our own. :)
Mommy Play Day walk with Liz and Wesley. It was a beautiful walk even if it was cold!
We traveled to Provo to meet Ben and Camille’s new precious addition. Jayden adored him, like he does all babies. So did Ben and I. We are all SO baby hungry!!!
Jayden had fun playing with a buddy closer to his age, even if he was a little possessive of his toys. ;) They played while Ben and I made chicken parmesan for everyone for dinner.
After dinner, I finally got some newborn snuggle time. I LOVED it!!!
Jayden had fun dancing around their living room to music playing on Ben’s phone.
Jayden was SO cute with him, even when he would cry.
Yay for cute babies and fun!
