Last August we went with my family and my good friend Heidi and her cute little girl Lyric to Hogle Zoo. It was a blast and we figured we had better have one last hoorah for the summer, and one more time of Jayden getting into the zoo for free before turning three. He had such a blast at the zoo when Ben and I took him this past spring and returning with a bunch of friends to pal around with only added to his excitement, and in turn mine for this wonderful place. It was such a lovely day.

My little guy sure knows how to ham it up and steal the show in pictures he is not even meant to be a part of. Thank goodness though-SO cute!!!
The bird show was a big hit with all of us! I had not seen it since I was quite little. It was really neat!
After they let a couple audience members stand up and put their arm out to have a bird land on, Jayden wanted to do it too. I am just glad he did not stay disappointed for too long.
It was so cool watching so many birds soar just above us.
Jayden is sure social and LOVES time spent with family and friends!
Jayden is definitely blessed in the aunt and uncle department.
This boy runs and runs and runs…and then still has energy to run some more.

Jayden was SO excited to get to ride the train! Thank goodness it opened before we left. It had been closed all day.
The kids were pretty zoned in on their movie on the drive home…although Jayden was pretty quick to konk out.
