Here it is! Our yearly trip to Lava with my family! We LOVE this trip and look forward to it each and every year. Jayden can’t wait to ride the “BIG” slides one day, but for now the kiddie pool and kiddie slides are a pretty big hit. He was also very excited that a train track was near by, and he would go running out of the pool to see it every time he would hear it going by. It was SO cute! It is nice with him being a bit older and more independent and it is so fun to watch him and his excitement grow with these yearly traditions.
Jayden found an all-new confidence (not that he needed any more) in the water with his arm floaties we bought him when we checked-in.
As always we had an absolute blast, I took WAY too many pictures, and we stayed into the evening when we always almost have the pool to ourselves. It was so much fun and this time we even upped our game with eating at a delicious restaurant instead of our usual picnic of sandwiches. I have to say that after hours of swimming that warm and hearty food topped off with yummy ice cream really hit the spot.
I already can’t wait to go back to Lava next summer!
