Just because we did not have little ones yet, did not keep us from celebrating Easter full fledge with coloring eggs, an Easter egg hunt, colorful Easter baskets, and a delicious candle-lit Easter dinner feast! It was Conference that weekend so we enjoyed listening to Conference while coloring eggs and thinking of the Savior and his atonement and what Easter is really all about. We also enjoyed sitting and watching Conference when the eggs were done. Zoey and Chloe even joined us. Sometimes I prefer to listen to Conference though, since that is what we did all growing up due to not having television. After Conference, we had our Easter hunt that ended up being throughout our entire apartment. We took turns going outside while the other hid the loot. We had so much fun giggling and goofing off and feeling like children again as we celebrated. We brought it back to somewhat mature adulthood with our romantic, candle-lit, roast beef dinner. P.S.-don't mind the no makeup, it was one of those days where you just want to relax and not get ready.
I may or may not have grabbed the light bulb on accident…
Trying to get Ben to smile for the camera-maybe I have a child after all! ;)
It was such a wonderful Easter!
You don't need make up. What a fun couple you guys are. I want to be like you guys. My husband is a loveable curmudgeon now, though. ;)
