July 2010 was super busy with family and friend outings and date night fun. I decided to just cover it all with one massive post. It was packed with BBQ’s, swimming, dinners in and out on the town, days at the park and nights at the movie theater and pool. We sure made sure we still had time for some fun even with school and our crazy work schedules. Besides, isn’t fun what summer is all about? Who says that has to change just because we grow up and find ourselves without a summer vacation?

Our first time using the BBQ my Dad’s work got us for our wedding. We left it in the storage bay here in Utah while we were in Colorado and before that it served as our coffee table (boxed up with a pretty tablecloth on it) since we had nowhere to put it at our first apartment. I am happy to say that this first BBQ was well worth the wait!
Excited to check out the new California Pizza Kitchen that had just opened for our weekly date night-SO yummy!!!

Hitting up La Cacina to celebrate Aunt Shirley’s 80th birthday. This was the outing that got us addicted to this place! It was hard not to give in-often-with the good food, good prices, and it being just 5 minutes from home-especially when I was pregnant. This was the place I enjoyed my last meal before going into labor a week early (guess it is true what they say about spicy food). I craved it all the time my whole pregnancy.
Ready for a fun afternoon at Constitution Park to hang out and have a BBQ with Ben’s family members that were in town from Arizona and Alaska.
The kiddos sure love Grandpa Ostler and Uncle Ben! It was moments like this that I could not wait to make Ben a daddy!
