Back in the Spring of 2010, Ben’s brother Jon and his family from back east came to Utah for a visit. It was SO nice to see them again and their adorable little ones. We headed up north (stopping at my parent’s first so my Mom could cut our hair) to Ben’s parents for a hot dog roast (complete with Ben’s Dad’s famous homemade ice cream) and a swimming party at Crystal Hot Springs. It was so much fun and just what my summer craving self was needing. Having Ben’s family there just made it all the more fun! It was nice to get to spend the time together and get to know each other a little bit better. A couple days later, they came to our house for dinner and some more fun, before making the long drive back to Maryland. We have not seen them since and really, REALLY miss them! Thank goodness for Skype! Here are the pictures from our super fun weekend full of partying, yummy food and good times with them! My brother Casey tagged along for all the fun. We wanted to squeeze in as much time as possible since he would be leaving on his mission to Thailand early that summer.

Ben’s ancestors actually lived in this house behind us. Pretty neat and amazing what we take for granted these days, considering a very large family occupied this quaint, little home.
