Our August was fun (other than knowing that Summer was coming to an end). This post will cover some of the smaller events within the month.
Ready for some fun at the Ward Swim Party!
Jayden showing off his muscles and splashing!
Our candle-lit, double date dinner with Ryan and Hilary.
Chicken Alfredo!
Even Jayden loved it!
We topped the night off with cinnamon rolls! Yummy!
Andrea’s 15th Birthday Party!
What a little character!
Our awesome gift from Chiharu, who is the foreign exchange student from Japan that is staying with my parents for the school year.
Jayden’s present was hands down the coolest!
My cousin Jacob’s Homecoming!
Jayden had the time of his life jumping off the ottoman, and everyone else had fun watching him during his little adventure as usual.
My aunt and uncle have a basketball court in their home, and Jayden LOVED running around and playing in it!
Ben and I had fun together with a few games.
My friend Heidi, had her little girl Lyric, so I went over to meet her, cook us all breakfast, visit, and help Heidi clean her house.
After a very stern talk about being soft, Jayden was SO cute with her!
Jayden would look her up and down with this smile on his face, and then look up at me with this big grin. It was SO adorable to watch him just in awe at her.
The only time he got a little bit rough was when he wanted to point out her nose and ears and hair.
Jayden thought he was pretty cool when he climbed into Lyric’s crib.
She is precious and beautiful just like her Momma!
Getting closer to those cranky and messy terrible two’s! Good thing he is so cute!
Another awesome visit complete with Thai food from Uncle Casey! He was able to visit three days in a row that week.
Introducing Casey to his new favorite activity of climbing over the couch.
Date Night! Uncle Kyle was AWESOME and babysat Jayden and Caleb for us. Ben surprised me and took me to this cute fifties burger place called Pop’s before taking me to a movie.
I LOVE that they had these cute kid drawings as framed décor for the restaurant.
They even had an advertisement for Pop’s burgers at the theater. P.S.-It is AMAZING if you ever get a chance to check it out.
Derek’s baptism. Jayden loved the violins that played the prelude. Whenever a song would end, he would say “Again! Again!”
Having fun at my Dad’s Birthday Party!
It was a good month!
