The Box Elder County Fair is becoming a family tradition for us Ostler’s, and we really LOVE it! Jayden has so much fun seeing all the animals, and Ben and I have fun watching him enjoy himself as usual. We bring Caleb with us, and let me tell you, we should probably set up a booth and charge people to pet him. We would make a fortune! Every time I would turn around, Ben would be a ways behind us stuck with a bunch of people wanting to pet him. He was a BIG hit both last year, and this year. I was so proud of how sweet and tender he was with the little ones. It was such a good outing as a family.
Can you tell Jayden was excited to see some animals? He talked about going all day long, so the minute Daddy got home from work, he was ready to go!
Even Caleb had fun watching the animals.
We did not go on any rides, but the boys had fun watching them none-the-less.
On the way out, Caleb grabbed a good long drink in the canal and met some new friends.
We enjoyed watching the sunset as a family.
To save money, we stopped at Wal-Mart on the way home to grab dinner and a treat. Of course we had to stop and say hi to Jayden’s baby friend in the bakery. Every time we go shopping, he begs and begs to see the baby. We had pulled pork sandwiches with macaroni salad and chips, and topped the meal off with cinnamon rolls! YUM!
