This past Memorial Day was a good one! Jayden and I had fun at the park with Grandma and Grandpa, while Daddy had a little him time, and then we headed to Logan for a Memorial Day BBQ with Kyle. We also stopped by to visit Ryan and Hilary and see their new place. It is nice, and Hilary has it decorated SO cute! They even watched Jayden (we were not planning on this, but they actually begged to-who can blame them?) while we enjoyed some adult time to ourselves with Kyle. You just can’t beat taking it easy with a good steak dinner with friends and family.
We stopped by the local grocery store to grab potatoes, and some fruit for the fruit dip I was making for dessert.
These two shots were the best I got between Ryan and Jayden being stinkers.

When we came to pick Jayden up, he was excited to see us, but did not want to leave! He had a BLAST with Ryan and Hilary! So we stayed for a little while, and even played “ring around the rosies”. Jayden LOVES that song! Every time people come to our house he asks for their hand and then starts singing it and going in circles. It is cute, and let’s just say that song is the reason I never got much done around the house for a week or so.

After picking him up, we brought him back to Kyle’s for dessert and a movie. We brought Caleb along too. He LOVES Kyle’s backyard. Considering we do not have one for him to play in, it is quite a treat!
Jayden went crazy for the leftover mashed potatoes, and for snuggles with his Uncle Kyle.
Good food, good people, good times!
