Anyone who knows me, knows that I have always been social. That being said, being married comes with a lot less social life and a lot more one-on-one time, and as much as I have come to LOVE that, I also love having company over. This is probably the reason we have company over as often as we do, and family are my favorite people to have over (yes, that includes you friends I see as family). Last summer I had a lot of fun-especially with sleepovers with my siblings! This particular time we had Andrea and Lindsay over for two days and two nights. The days and nights were filled with yummy food and treats, movies and goofiness, and we definitely had a BLAST with a Wendy’s picnic lunch and water fun at the splash pad with Grandma and then baking and playing games afterwards.
The next morning, the girl’s watched Jayden while I took Ben to work (ah, the joys of having one car), and I came home to this pile of stuffed animals on Jayden’s high chair. What a bunch of sillies we have in our family!
Jayden LOVED chilling with his aunties!
Jayden can be so sweet at times…
and so violent and crazy at other times.
I am so smitten by this adorable little human.
It was at that point Jayden decided to go play on the swings and the “big toy”…does anyone else call it that? Because that is what I have called them ever since I was little, but I am not really sure it is its proper name.
Jayden would squeal while going down the slide, and then giggle like crazy as he ran around to go down again.
Our little man is ALL boy, I tell ya!
When we got home, we made brownies for the dessert to follow our crescent roll dinner. Grandma really got into cracking those eggs. Letting off a little daily stress I assume. ;)
We ended night #2 with games, brownies, and a walk. Jayden LOVED the card shuffler!
After we took Grandma home, we played the Wii before going to bed.
The next morning, we watched cartoons, cuddled, and played games until my Mom came to pick the girl’s up.
They were sure some fun-filled days of sisterly fun!!!
