Fall Fun and Events 2012!

Since we like to get together with our old neighbors and friends from Murray Shirleen and Lexi from time to time, we decided to do dinner at our place and throw a little birthday bash for Jayden while we were at it. Jayden was pretty excited about opening more presents and still to this day LOVES the toy truck, and Mommy loves the outfits they got him. The party got even better when Casey dropped in for a surprise visit after drill. We are sure blessed with awesome family and friends!

It was a good night full of good friends, good food, and good times!

Grandma came with me (goodness bless her for all her love and support!) to Draper for a post-op visit to Jayden’s plastic surgeon, Dr. Warnock. After Jayden’s appointment she treated us to Applebee’s. Jayden’s meal came with chocolate milk, which I let him have for the first time (I did not want him to have sugar until his first birthday). He went CRAZY for it! It was so cute! He could not suck it up the straw on his own, so Grandma would load it into the straw for him, and then put it in his mouth. When we switched the straw back to water for a moment, he got this look on his face of pure disgust, like he knew he was being ripped off with not getting the “good” stuff. It was too hilarious, and Grandma and I laugh to this day when that memory is brought up.

After taking Grandma to run errands (they don’t drive or have a car, so I help them out) while Grandpa watched Jayden. We came home to find them both zonked out in this lawn chair. How adorable are these two?

Jayden was not a fan of the fall leaves last year.  I put him in the pile expecting him to play and have fun, but he would not even let his arms touch. It lasted all of ten seconds before he busted out of there! Maybe he will enjoy them more this year! I am hoping so, since I still like to play in them myself.

Our first Primerica Recognition Event with Millionaires! It was a special moment in time for Ben and I to celebrate all we had accomplished with such amazing leaders there to recognize our efforts. Our families drove all the way to Provo to support us. We even got to go out after the meeting for ice cream as a treat from Brandon and Lexee Neil, who are the youngest million-dollar earners in the company (only a select few got to go). It was quite the night!

Last fall, I got to enjoy Time Out For Women in Logan with my Aunt Kayleen, my Mom, and my Mom’s best friend, Korina Lee. It was a wonderful weekend full of giggles, French fries and shakes, motivational speakers, yummy food, and beautiful music by Michael McLean and Jericho Road! It was such a neat experience!
