Day two was the day we spent the most time there, due to not either be driving to Moab or driving back home. Day two was the day we did the most. That being said, it is also the day with the most pictures. We started the day with a yummy breakfast and a hike to Delicate Arch. From there it was one hike after another, with a mini break (well it was supposed to be short, until we got blocked in due to a Homecoming Parade, that is) for lunch in town at Subway. On the way home from our last couple hikes, we stopped at this massive sand hill to play around before going back to the cabins for a relaxing night of swimming. It was such a happy day!
Taking a snack break, and sharing with our new furry little friend.
That picture in the middle is of the lizard bite I got. Crazy, no?
The middle picture shows the pattern the river that used to run through here left. Pretty cool.
The power of Gatorade really is remarkable, you know?
Boy was climbing this hill a work out after a full day of hiking! My amazing man made it all the way to the top with our little guy.
Jayden liked to use Ben’s hair for handles to hang on to. It left Ben with a pretty interesting hair do.
Casey and Cami reenacting The Princess Bride rolling down the hill “as you wish” scene, to celebrate the anniversary of this great movie. We were all hysterical over it.
Like my awesome sand “tan” line? Jayden did not seem too impressed…;)
Yay for fun family vacations! Stay tuned for our last day in Moab.
