We are so blessed to have some absolutely incredible people in our life, and many of them came those first couple weeks to meet our little man. We were so overwhelmed with everyone’s love and support that continues to be such a blessing in our life today. We love you all! Thank you for being a part of our family’s life!

My family came up with my grandparents for a picnic lunch the Sunday after Jayden was born. We were so excited to have Jayden meet them sincekids were not allowed to come to the hospital, and it was a beautiful day! The only downside was that Cami, Lindsay, and Nathan were sick and could not make it. I am not sure who was more bummed them or us.
This little guy slept through his very first time outside.
Lexi visited frequently and Jayden and I always enjoyed the visit!

My mom came to stay with us and help after I had Jayden, and she took this picture while Ben and I went out on a date to Olive Garden and she spent some quality time with him.
Grandpa even came for dinner one night!
My Mom’s friend Korina Lee, my sister Cami and my good friend Matt Fleming all came to meet Jayden for the first time and have dinner one night. Cami and Korina even brought a ton of newborn clothes since I had hardly any due to planning on a bigger baby with what runs in Ben’s family and the gestational diabetes. With Jayden being 6 pounds 1 ounce, I was SO grateful!
While our days were fun and filled with lots of visitors, our nights were a whole ‘nother party. Let’s just say it was a slumber party every night the first two weeks. I am happy to report Jayden has been a wonderful sleeper (I am talking 10-12 hours, folks) ever since. Ben’s brother and his wife were nice and let us come over and take a nap while they and their kids played with Jayden. It was amazing! Thanks, guys!
Our friends Keely and Clark Harper came to meet Jayden, and spoiled us by making dinner! It was a treat! Both the meal and the company.

Ben’s Mom came to help for a few days a week after Jayden was born. It was so nice to spend the time with her and get to know her better. Grandpa came along and Jayden even got to meet Uncle Larry for the first time!
He has always been so alert and bright!
