Our first month in our new place consisted of many dinner and game nights with friends and family (that came to see our new place), visiting family, and having my siblings over for sleep overs, as well as our family spending relaxing evenings at home just the three of us. It was also filled with a LOT of projects as you can see from my last post. We also went to Fat Cats again (they have a killer miniature golf, bowling, and arcade game package deal) for another date night which was much more convenient this time around with it being right down the road instead of an hour away from home like last time we went. With living close to Grandma, I was also able to go celebrate the Relief Society’s birthday with her. We were LOVING our new place and being so close to family and many friends. It was definitely a month filled with gratitude and happiness.
Dinner and games with Ben’s family!
Look who was growing up and holding the bottle all on his own!
Another date night at Fat Cats!
Go team “Benae”! Ha ha! We can be so corny sometimes, but we have fun.
Like the drool on Ben’s arm. Ha ha!
Getting a foot zone from Grandma. He LOVED it!
Dinner and games with Ryan and Hilary!
Dinner and game night with Heidi and Caleb Collier! They just had their first baby today! I can’t wait to meet her!
This little guy is sure fond of his Daddy! He was also fond of having an hour with his helmet off every night while Mommy would clean it. Don’t you just love the little tuft of hair on the top of his head? Ha ha! The helmet would rub the rest of it off, but there is a hole in the top of his helmet where the hair would stay long. It really made him look like a little cartoon baby.
By this point in time, he would not go anywhere without his Mickey! This picture was taken while we were out grocery shopping.
Celebrating the Relief Society’s Birthday with Grandma, and of course-delicious and beautiful cakes! We LOVE living so close and getting to do so much with her now!
Needless to say, it was a wonderful first month in West Haven!
