With how excited Jayden got about the Christmas lights at home, Ben and I could not wait to take him to Temple Square to see all the beautiful lights there! With living 15 minutes away, it just made sense. We went when Ben got off work the week after Christmas. We bundled ourselves up, got in the car, busted out the stroller, loaded our little guy’s car seat onto it and we were off for some post-Christmas, Christmas time fun and tradition! It did not work out to go before like we had originally planned, but somehow enjoying Christmas traditions after Christmas was over, made the magic seem to last just a little bit longer. Jayden LOVED it and only got a little fussy towards the end, when it got closer to his bed time. Ben was amazing and swung his car seat back and forth to put him to sleep. As if the cold weather was not enough to get us nice and chilly, we stopped and got ice cream on the way home. It was a good evening spent as a family.
